Orlando attorney David Castillo handles Florida hurricane claims, homeowners property insurance claims, and personal injury claims. David uses his unique prior experience having been in the insurance industry for years, as well as having represented clients on both sides of injury cases, to help his clients seek favorable results against insurance companies.
Prior to his career in the legal field, David served as an Insurance Agent and Office Manager for an insurance company. While in pursuit of his law degree, he worked as a law clerk for a local firm specializing in personal injury claims. After finishing law school and taking the bar examination, he began his legal career as a personal injury attorney, handling automobile claims. David has also handled claims as an insurance defense attorney handling automobile, premise liability, and negligence claims.
David attended Florida State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology in 2011. He then continued his studies and received his Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University’s Huizenga College of Business in 2013. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2017 from Florida A&M University College of Law, where he worked with the Mediation Clinic and served on Law Review from 2016-2017 as a Junior Editor.
Outside of work, David enjoys playing basketball, being with his family, and taking his dog (Storm) to the beach.
